I currently own an older Fisher CZ7a Pro detector in which I really like but am considering trying a Minelab Quattro. The depth of my Fisher seems to be as good as most detectors but I have read stories of Minelabs going as deep as 14 inches on coins and I dont think my Fisher can quite reach that with a proper ID. The most I am getting on dimes and such is between 8 and 10 inches. I like the notching on the Fisher but as I understand on the Quattro you can kind of notch out certain ID numbers which to me would be more precise. Can anyone give me any insight on the Quattro without being too biased? Preferrable someone who has experience with Fisher CZs. I know I have heard Minelabs is great with iron as Fishers tend to see a lot of deep iron nails as coins. Thanks......
