Ok tommorrow and Friday will be 40 or 42 so
Im off to the aprk with the ACE250 to ck out the sled riding
areas. Heres the question ....

Will the dpeth shown on pinpoint ait hthe ace ( or GTI1500 for that matter)
be the depth in the ground OR the depth including snow or just in the snow

IE there will be about 4-5 inches where ill hunt. If it reads 2
is that into the snow or underground??

Just when ya thought i was learnin ...!!!!!!!:huh:

Depth is always the distance between the coil and the target regardless of what is in between. So if you have five inches of snow that will eat up five inches of depth before the signal ever hits the ground or hits the target. So if the target is one inch under the ground you'll get a depth reading of six inches.
