fixing bad connection Eureka Gold standard coil

Am hoping someone can tell me which wires go where on my Connector to my Eureka Gold connector that goes to the detector housing from the coil wire.

There are four total wires. One white/opaque paired to a bare red metal wire. One black paired with another bare red metal wire. The connector to the detecter has a female connection to the unit, they are labeled 1,2,3 and 4. I am hoping someone can tell me which goes to 1, which to two, which to three and which to four. I can easily solder the connections back and be using the detector again.

The break happened while I was using it in Germany, I didn't need it often so put the detector away until it would be needed. I don't want to trial and error this, am concerned about causing a short that could ruin the detector or the coil. I am positive the connection is all that is wrong with my detector, it was working perfectly until the wire broke at the solder connection.

If I had another similar detector, it would be relatively easy to get the info by looking at the connecting wires on that unit. I called for support, they would not give out the wiring info, told me my only option was to ship the entire unit (not just the coil). I understand on giving out wiring info on the internal proprietary circuitry, but would rather not have to spend 30 dollars on shipping and up to 100 on labor for fifteen minutes of soldering, especially as flaky and simple that connection is, w/one or two little screws securing the wire to the connection. This detector is awesome in finding stuff, but my concern about the quality of that connection, even when I received it new, proved to be welll-founded.

Am getting my prospecting/rock hunting stuff together for a month long prospecting/rock hunting/relic trip through the southwest in May or June, after several years overseas and getting settled in after returning. Any info would be appreciated.

Have you tryed the modification forum, some one there might help.
I am thinking about getting a Eureka gold, how is it on silver coins,
whats the largest coil that you have tried.
