Florida Gulf Coast trip!

Well the time is drawing near...time to leave this arctic New England weather and head down to Florida. Just got the tracking number for my new Garrett ATX.

I'll be spending a month in the Venice/Englewood/Port Charlotte area. I plan on hitting the beaches on Manasota Key. Any other suggestions for a virgin detector?

My guess, if it was his first time detecting, especially with the ATX, his arm and shoulder gave out after day 2.
