Thanks Dave for your good words and adding to my post! There is so much we could say from the true Scriptures of God written in the Bible, but would take too much typing and time! Each of us who adds onto another's posted message, gives more information on how to be saved and why we need saved! I don't know everything and have forgotten a lot of what I have learned, although I studied my Bible, KJV, diligently, since I received it for Christmas from my brother and sister-in-law in 1986! It is the Thompson Chain and I have found it to be so helpful in gaining godly wisdom and knowledge of Jehovah God but I do forget and I get confused as I am past 74 and do have poor health which doesn't help! But I know what the Holy Spirit of God gives me to say and I try to type what He gives me but I have to type fast and, therefore, I mess up on my spelling and skip letters and endings of words......writing what I didn't mean to do! Thanks for the thoughts to ponder. I am swayed niether one way or the other at this point and have my own thoughts. What are peoples thoughts on December 21st, 2012? Will it be the end of planet earth or, will the Myan (spelling) calender reset?

If you know anybody who claims to firmly believe that 2012 thing, try this with them. Offer to buy everything they own for $1000 with the stipulation that you won't take possesion of it until December 22, 2012. They might just re-think how firmly they believe. I've made this offer to fellow Christians who tell me that Jesus is returning before a certain date. No takers so far.

No one knows the day or the hour but we can see the signs that Jesus gave to all who read the Bible of His coming to get God's saints and then after the great tribulation He will return with His faithful Saints, as His army in His second coming and put the anti-Christ (lying Lucifer--satan) into the bottomless pit while reigning and ruling the earth for a thousand years and then ole-slew-foot will be loosened again for a short while; but he and his demonic, evil army with him will be ended by fire and brimstone rained down upon them from God and all lost souls who are unbelievers and haven't repented will stand before the Judgement Seat of God and be cast into the Lake of Fire! (( He will separate the Sheep from the goats! Those saved are His Sheep, those lost are the goats! ))

There will peace in Jesus' ruling in new Jerusalem City that will come down from heaven and be on this Earth forever and ever! Heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for all you've done for your human creation that we can look forward to such a wondrous, glorious, wonderful and loving life for all eternity by having forgiving grace freeing us from all sins that would corrupt our souls to not ever obtain eternal life but receive eternal death!

I have heard many times that the Myan calendar ends on Dec 21, 2012! I haven't ever heard about 2112 being the end of their calendar! I remember the 12-21-2012 date because my cousin, Virginia, will be 81 on that day (her birthday) and also will be her and John's anniversary date! Can't remember, how long married right now but this is what I have heard..............sooooo if it is a different year than I need the proof, please!!

God will send Jesus to gather up HIs faithful servants, who're His saints, when it is time and we do not know the day or the hour.....but we sure can see the Book of Revelation being fulfilled, right now in our time! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

I do not post much, but I read. Just want to tell you that I appreciate the Word of God. You say it so much better that what I could.

:blush: Oh my, Bill-De, you are so nice and encouraging to an ole woman, who is grandma and great-grandma several times but, so far, not a great-great-grandma, so not as old (or as young) as I could be yet!

Will try to continue posting but I've noticed lately that I do make lots of mistakes, even when I'm proof-reading I miss them, so cannot see well either! I hope you will come back and post and be with us more often, but glad you are visiting the CMD Forum as we have very loving, nice and kind brothers and sisters on here.....Our forum family! Let us love one another as God loved us and gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, on the Cross of Calvary that we might be saved and spend eternity with Him in His golden Kingdom! Amen!

Hi Dwayne! The posts I have posted in answer to yours are not my thoughts they are the true words of God! I'm sorry that you have not heeded what has been posted by me and others, for our Lord and Savior, Jesus, is real and He is the only way we will enter into heaven's gate and live forever! But you see, we cannot change your ways or thoughts about anything, as it is the Almighty Jehovah God Who makes the changes by your reading, listening, hearing and accepting the truth of His Holy Word, The Bible, yourself!

Now, God's Word will not return Void but will accomplish that for which He sends it forth to do! Some of us plant the seeds of salvation, others water and it is up to sinners or Christians weak in their faith to receive, grow and rejoice in Jesus' wonderful, agape LOVE! He won't force you and neither will we, but I sure hope you will know that we love you and only want the best for you and your family in our Savior's forgiving grace that will have to be accepted by faith just like many others have!!

I would like to ask you one question......??????

How can you know what is true or not true, if you don't read the Biblical Scriptures by searching, seeking and studying His Living Word, diligently??? We or anyone else could tell you anything and without knowledge and godly wisdom of the Word of God and His Commandments, you would not know....even to know if preachers preach and teach the true Gospel of Christ! You need to learn what is written and not rely on anyone else for the truth, because only Jesus, The Living Word, can set you free and for your faith to grow to know God loves you and that the Bible, written by Prophets of Old by the Holy Spirit breathing the Truth and Knowledge into them! Either you listen to and serve God, in Jesus' name, and worship Him in spirit and in truth or you listen to satan's lies and serve his evilness, no matter what good you try to do on your own, and will be cast into Hell and not enter the Pearly Gate of Glory with Jesus!

LIke I said before, He gives us each a choice, TO CHOOSE JESUS and have everlasting life in Heaven or CHOOSE DEATH and suffer in the flames of fire being punished, tortured and tormented for unbelief in God, and His beloved Son, Jesus! I will be praying that God will send a laborer of His Vineyard to you and that He will help you to believe in all that we have told you in our written posts......God's true messages! Amen!

The history of people predicting Christ's return goes back to the Bible itself and would take pages to cover just the main details of that history.

Credibility is an issue with many Christians. It's awful hard to talk to people about the Gospel when charlatan televangelists sell miracles, misguided pastors tell a grieving young widow that her husband's death is "part of God's plan", and e-mails about the FCC taking "Touched by an Angel" off the air clog my inbox. The words "wisdom" and "understanding" appear in the Bible far more often than "signs" and "wonders". Superstitious Christianity does God a disservice. Jesus even warned of things like this in Lk 21:8.

Christians don't have the market cornered on righteousness or good judgement. Believe me I know. What we do have is the realization that we are broken sinners and that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has paid for the debt incurred by that sin.

Good post, Dave! Thank you! I am not superstitious but do believe in the Supernatural works of God! Satan works in the supernatural, too, but they are superstitions and evil work to kill, steal and destroy both Christians and sinnrs! By having God's Spiritual power we can defeat him, for enduring and overcoming all things! The Book of Revelation tells what will be happening in the last days and most of the prophecies have been fulfilled is why we are saying the end of the age is near...TV can spread the Gospel of Jesus into most of the world and One World Gov't is about to happen or happening, ONE World Religion is coming about, quickly, because of our nation turning our backs upon God and turning against Israel by our Gov't! Israel became a nation in 1946, I believe, and other prophecies are being fulfilled right now in our day! Knowledge has increased and people run to and fro by being able to fly or go by boat across the oceans to other nations and often! So, that is why I believe the end of the age is drawing nigh! Maybe I will mortally die first, but if not I will be raptured when it is Jesus' time to come and call us Home! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

You are welcome, Dave! And I forgot to mention that the One World Economic System is almost upon us, too! I just couldn't remember that one at all last night....Sometimes I remember things easily and other times I cannot, but usually sooner or later the words or names will come to me! Senior Citizens are supposed to be in their golden years, but sometimes they aren't even silver, only when I keep on, keepin' on the sunnyside-of-life with Jesus!
