For anyone interested in silver ring finds: here is a . 925 that I recovered yesterday

High tide, and rain predictions were chasing me mid- day yesterday; managed to avoid the rain, but the incoming tide / strong waves came in fast...not giving me as much time to hunt this beach as I would have liked to have.

Usually not much to be found at this particular beach so had to hunt low, slow ,and listen carefullly for those faint deep sounds....this ring was one of those faint sounds...about 10" deep...must have been in that ocean for many years...the tarnish was sooooooo thick; I think this accounted for the not so high silver sound that is usually heard with the GT...it was more of a medium tone , and it had a solid, focused quality .

Found it in the wet sand on the slope area of the beach .

Thanks for looking

Magz
