Have you any info about large coils for the CZ series(larger then the 10.5") I have yet to see any.
Are there any techical reasons why it could not or is not made.I was thinking about a 15"-18" round or eliptical for cache hunting.

To my knowledge the factory doesn't make any CZ coils larger than the 11 incher. It's possible that there might be something available from an aftermarket coil company, but I doubt it.
CZ coils are difficult to make because they not only have to balance at two frequencies, the balance has to be pretty tight. Fisher knows how to do it, but it would be beyond the capability of most other companies.

Dave,
I am in love with the 10.5" CZ coil.lol In your opinion would there be any gains in target seperation between one of the same design in say an 8.75" version vs the standard 8" coil?
Thanks
Tom

There would probably be a slight advantage, but I'm not aware of the existence of such a coil.

I don't know of any either. I was just trying to get an idea if such a coil would be feasible and have a practical application in trashy areas.
Thanks for you reply
Tom
