For no apparent reason, the crappie were back today.....

Fishing seemed light today, but the paper mouths were back, these were caught by my partner and I, one nice keeper bass, and the seven crappie, my biggest was almost 14". Fishing three foot depth with a minnow and a small splitshot eight inches from the hook, we had to work for what we got today, crappie and bass occupying the same area of water. shooey. I got stanky fingers from cleaning these guys....

NIce catch of fish! I know what you mean, as a child and even during my early married life, I had to scale and clean fish and it is a messy and stinking job! YUCK and I don't even like eating fish....maybe that was why????...but cleaning the feathers off a chicken by soaking them in scalding water even smells worse! Ma Betty
