For sale....long handled sand scoop

I built a scoop for myself and it really works great. I took all my years of water and beach hunting experience and decided that the scoops available were not what I wanted. So I decided to build one myself. I had extra material laying around and decided to make another one. So here it is!

The scoop itself is made of 1/8 aluminum plate with over 200 holes that are big enough to let out sand and small shells and pebbles but small enough to keep small jewelry. The handle is schedule 40 1 inch aluminum pipe which will never bend or break. It is tig welded for strength. The tip is made of stainless steel for durability and cutting through mud and rocks. The handle itself is closed shut so no sand or water will enter it and it has a loop at the end for attaching a tether.

The scoop is also a convertible......it has a float for water hunting which is removable for wet and dry sand hunting. Also has a lift handle for easy lifting of sand and or mud.

It weighs in at 6.5 lbs. This is by no means a small scoop. It is meant for digging deep with one scoop attempt.

The scoop itself is 59 inches tall with the bucket at 4 inches at the very tip of the stainless lip which widens to 6.5 inches and finally to 8.5 inches. That allows for a big bucket without having to struggle with pushing a wide bucket into the sand. The length of the scoop bucket is 13.5 inches. This scoop takes a big bite which is perfect for water hunting or in the surf where getting the target with the first scoop is important. The back of the scoop is wide for easy foot pushing into the sand or mud/rocks.

I'm selling for $165 shipped to your door.
