General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I have a used very little Tesoro Cibola. It's only been used maybe 5 times. Its been well taken care of and has never had the GB mod done on it. I put liquid elec. tape around the coil cover to seal out dirt and it's done a good job of it. It's in excellent condition. Comes with original box, manual and there's even a bumper sticker in the box. $200.00 and $10.00 for shipping in the U.S. only. No acceptions for overseas shipping. I will accept paypal or Postal M.O. only
 
Second request for info:
Why does pinpoint button not stay on when trying to point --it stays on 2 sec then right off ??? My sidewinder when pushing button stays right on until done pinpointing--you shouldn't have to keep pushing the button ???? Art
 
First of all your detector is working properly (as far as the pinpoint feature goes) ---Basically all of the newer tesoros (most UMax and All Hot series) have an "Autotune " motion pinpoint in other words the when push the "pinpoint" or flip a switch to all metal (Umax) you have about a second or two to pinpoint the target till the target tunes itself out -if your trying to be "motionless" like your sidewinder ---- the older Tesoros had either a switch to give you the option of the "Autotune" or the motionless pinpoint mode --personally i am like you--i prefer the static motionless mode --i always thought of the newer Autotune motion mode was good for competion hunting quick pinpoint but not for as much field use !
