Wow, what a gorgeous winter day here in the south lands. So, grabbed the Omega and headed out for some park hunting. This particular spot is fairly modern, but over the recent years has given up 2 silver Rosies, at least 2 gold rings and numerous silver pieces of jewelry. Today again, it released it purse strings a little and gave up a 64d Rosie and a hefty 21 grams 925 marked silver ring. Had the 10" concentric on the Omega and sen 99, disc 1 and d3 tones. Wow! 21gr is a heavy ring alright! And another silver dime for the pot! Yeah, this weather is just awful for dirt hunting. I gotta go today...cant take it anymore, I found a little stream that is relatively unthawed and fairly shallow, the banks are frozen, so I guess the water will have to do. Us yankees have a whole lot of catching up to do, and at this point, heading into March with no end of winter in sight, we've lost a third of the year.
