Fors Core hunt coming tomorrow, weather permitting

Got the Core today. Did some testing on my test plot 12" Minnie ball and was very impressed to say the least. Stock coil, D2 appears the mode for me. I could not believe the depth, tone ID at 3-4" over the target. We have very mild ground. GB number 58
Figures, we got 50 mph wind and blizzard like snow tonight and bone chilling temperature. I'm not sure if this detector likes single digit temperature so guess time will tell. 50 mph wind tomorrow, not sure I ever went relic hunting in that kind of weather, stay tuned. If I go you know it will be a love for the hobby and thrill of a new toy.
Stay tuned

I received mine last week and I am very impressed with it also. Turn your sensitivity down to 1 and air test it you will be amazed. The other coils are very impressive also, especially the depth you get with the little 5". I can't wait to get out and hunt either but no way am I'm going out in -20 degrees F. I need a jack hammer to get through the frost. Keep us posted how you make out.
