Hi all , weather perfect, no rain , no ice , no wind, no where to MD around fort, the powers that be have tarmacked around three side of it covering nearly all the sand down to the bed rock, absolutely pizzed me off, went on to the beach the tide started to come in when that happens on the Mersey it happens fast, found 31new pence, funnily enough no rubbish at all, went to have lunch, decided to try another beach, the weather changed 80mph winds, freezing rain, found nowt, all in all a really naff day, i think i will stick to my parks at least i find silver and nice coinage in them, hoping to get permission to MD a local farmers field in the near future, thanks for your time. 
i"ll give you two bits of advice if it"s a new area you"v never detected before check on google maps & check out a satellite image of the area before you go this can also help you spot potential hot spots to hit. & always have one or two back up areas that look good in case the first area is no good.
