Well Joe met me this morning, and we waited on Mike from Chicago to get here. He was running late so he decided to meet us at the hunt site. Joe and I met up with Greg and Shawano. Mike met us at the site.
Not long into the hunt Shawano got an 1888 Indian head! I got a wheat, then an 1890- Indian head, followed by a very cool WWI button in great shape about the size of a quarter. Then I got a neat little figure of St. Christopher. Joe dug a neat old car and Greg found one too (a fire truck) Then we broke for lunch and Shawano had to go to work. We started again, and I said I am going to get some silver. Well I got a wheat followed by a silver war nickel, then another wheat, then a 57 silver Rosie and another wheat! :) Mike came by later with two mercs from the same hole! One of my last cool finds was a small gun like maybe Cracker Jack. Everyone found clad and junk, but we all got keepers!

Here are the guys having a water break! It was hot and humid today!

Is was a lot of great fun and fellowship, we will hit it hard again tommorow! Sure wish you were all here! :)

Good to see some 1800s coins. That large car reminds me of the one in the movie "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". Which would be kinda fitting for the forum hunt - since you all fit into that as you are all Extraordinary Gentlmen...of God.

Sure is quiet around the forum when you guys are gone. Hoping today's hunt is fantastic and not too hot.

We hit a new place Friday, and Mike and I did a short hunt at the burned down house in the evening. Then we hit another new site Saturday morning, then the site of the hunt from two years ago. Then a storm chased us out so we headed back and got some dinner then hit a construction site and got some more goodies! :)

it kinda reminds me of that car too! It was fun today and we got some more keepers! :)

called an Eyed Elator, haven't seen one of those since I was a kid.
Hope the forum hunt goes good. Wish I could be there, Maybe next year.
God Bless,
HH
