It was a beautiful day and the fellowship and finds were just as good! Several members that we thought we would see could not make it. We hope that many more can attend next year. Neal in IN, Doug from TN, Greg MI, and myself enjoyed all the plunder!
The day started very foggy as we headed to the hunt site. Doug and I had to stop to get this pic.

My finds. 1902 Indain was the first coin of the day, 3 wheats, later I found back to back silver war nickels about 30 feet apart 1942P and 1944P, a neat old suspender buckle, a neat old gold plated pin, and kinda fitting for the hunt a rolled penny of the ten commandments.

Doug was battling allergies, so he didn't hunt as long but took out the camera to get some pics. On the way home we stopped and hunted some street construction in an old town. I got another wheat and some clad, Greg got clad, and Neal got some clad and an awesome 1868 shield nickel! What a great day! 7 indians, 5 silvers, 19 wheats, a shield nickel, and several neat old doo-dads. Hope to see you next year.
