Forum hunt info.......

There were not too many replies on my last post. Some plan to come who didn't post. I also realized I am not available on the 8th. Would Oct 22 or 29th work better for some of you?
For those who have never been to MI that time of year you will see the fall colors near their peak. The ground conditions will be great too for digging.
Let me know as I wish to make this happen and have a fun time with folks from this forum.

Would love to Mike, but it's just too far for me and I'd have to come by myself anyway. Michigan is the other side of the country for me - literally.

Mike, What is your zip code?

Mike,

I too would love to come. In fact, had the promotion not come through, I probably would have braved the 1k mile drive! :wiggle:Thank you for the constant prayers and please post as many pictures of the hunt that you can on the forum. God Bless my brother in Christ!

I can't make the first two weekends in October or the 29th.

Mike,

I got your PM and this post should answer your question. I will not be able to come to the forum hunt. It is waaay too far for me to go. I checked to see exactly how far and how long it would take and here is what I came up with; It would take me around 13 hours (just a little over) and would be over 750 miles. I would have to travel alone (Tim would never come with me) and I just don't want to drive that far alone. I can't see spending the money to fly and I don't want to lose the time from work it would take to be on the road. I understand that the majority of our forum members live much closer to Michigan than I do (with the exception of a few) and that it would be much more convenient for the hunt to be up there. Y'all have fun. :)
