Well,,its not what you thought huh? This is number 5 silver spoon for this year. I am amazed.Believe it or not, it read as a dime. When pinpointing It seemed a little big ,but not bad. First one I found with a date on it. Its was bent up bad ,I straightened it some,, and will work on it more later, and polish it. The date :clapping:makes it very cool.
Also found 1 -1930 wheat.

Here is 3 other spoons I have found in years passed. All 8 from the same place, of course. They used to make things nice back in the day. Now its the cheapest way out.

Nice craftmanship on those spoon finds.. Congrats !

Nice finds flash!! WTG

Alright!:bouncy:Congrats on the great finds!:cheers:Happy Hunting!:)

I think you should stop calling that place the pig farm and start calling it the silver spoon cemetery.

They used to give silver spoons when a baby was born and usually put the year of birth and the babies initials. I found a bunch once at a tag sale and scrapped them a few years back when silver peaked at 20. They were cool collectibles but since I had paid a quarter a piece for them and got $20/each I survived.

Great silver spoon work this year. I must admit I was expecting a 1905 half dollar from the title of your post.
