but the dang thing is absolutely trashed
(well, at least the scratch I added don't matter)!!! I went to a local "Old" pounded park today (1870's-present) for a challenging afternoon
after voting, its the kinda place where you really have to work to find anything, anyway a 4 hour hunt produced a 1922 no D cent, 1917 cent, 1945 Mercury dime and .68 cents in clad.
I've dug some pretty, chocolate colored pennies here in the past but not this time, once I got home and inspected them closer after mild a cleaning, the 1922 without a D
emerged...WOW..of all the lowly pennies I've dug this is probably one of the ugliest, but it does have a superb pedigree though.
