Found A Few Keepers This Week

Pulled 2 Mercury dimes today, a 1941 and a 1944. They came from a vacant lot where a house used to be. For some reason I have never detected this spot even though I knew it was there. I also pulled 4 wheats out of there, 1919, 1925, 1945 and 1951-D. Earlier this week I pulled an advertising fob from the N. J. Schloss & Co. It is a miniature reproduction of the medal they won at the 1889 Worlds Fair in Paris. They were a boys clothing manufacturer in NYC. They went out of business in 1893 after their bookkeeper embezzled over $50,000 from them. Sorry about the crappy pics, my tablet does not take very good pictures. The 1944 Merc is the nicest one I have dug, it is a solid AU. 14 silver coins for the year. Been a bit slow.
