guess when the kids were over for Casey's birthday party one lost a necklace, and either I dropped one ring awhile back sorting through my ring finds or one of Casey's friends lost it too. And found a dime.
I did better than when I went out detecting. Yep you understood that right. I didn't go detecting. Didn't have the machines with me...just a broom.
After cutting the grass yesterday, I decided to sweep the driveway of the grass clippings. Found the necklace..pretty well trashed after being run over several times by our van. Then found a ring...didn't check markings - could be silver or just a junk ring. Found it in the driveway too up by the garage. Found 'dimes' when cutting the grass....seems the kids drink pop but don't pick up their empties. So 2 pop bottles, a necklace and a ring.
Who needs a detector and who needs to spend gas leaving home? Like that credit card commercial says :What' in your wallet" I ask What's in your driveway?
