Found a Ring last week

Thought I would share a pic of this cool ring last week across the street from a church. No mark but looked to be gold plated. Costume Jewelry ? TID of 36 if I remember correctly.

That is a cool looking old ring. Are you sure it is gold plated? I just got an unmarked older ring given to me by a lady who was running a garage sale at her church. I donated alot of items to the sale from my dad's estate and I saw the ring and asked how much. She said I could have it since I donated the stuff to her sale. Well it is unmarked also and has a copper look to it. Turned out to be 14kt rose gold ring from the mid to late 1800's. That is why I asked are you sure it is not gold even though there is not mark? Tim

I found one sunday. Was marked with a 5 and a a NR. NR = not real lol

Well my wife loves that ring and has been wearing it all the time, so that find was a very good one for me...regardless if it is valuable. Jewelry for wife=more hunting time! lo
