Found a walker in the woods

AK in KY

Found this at a park in Louisville today. Almost did not dig because the signal was jumping from silver to pulltab/nickle. But that silver kept screaming. Turned out to be a 1942 nickle in the hole with the half.

Congratulations on the neat find. I've noticed on a couple of my digs in the past that the lower coin, especially a nickel will pull the read down somewhat but still sound good. Nickel and a Quarter will do the same thing if Silver, not sure if it's clad. Great find anyway and that goes to show you, Dig It

Nice find. I found a 43 half about 2 wks ago. I live in Lexington, I would be interested in hunting Louisville parks with hunting partner. HH

Wow great find. Thoses co-located targets are cool and the EX11 can see them. Last week at the beach I found a nickle with a dime in one hole and a quarter, nickle, penny in another and I almost did not dig but could not resist the sound as you indicated.
