Well took the V3i north of tahoe to hwy 50 and turned on hwy 49 got to Coloma and talked to a man at the birthplace of the gold rush. he sent me down to a river area where I paid 5.00 to get in and I turned on the V3i and it would not calm down as I went along the river for about 6-8 feet I looked along the water edge and saw gold flakes washing in the sand. I set my V3i down sent my wife to the car and filled up 4 sacks of Gold/Sand and put it into the suitecase flew back to Texas and now I have to get it seperated and see what I have what a wonderfull time I had If I could have staied longer in this area and looked under some of the rocks no telling what I could have found so I will go back some day and look again. Also NASA was in the ares looking for metorite that fell in the area.
