This is a two piece button like a CW eagle cuff button and is the size of a quarter. There are remains of a shank. No stars and to corroded to get some manufacture name off the back. Just trying to date it. Thank you. HH c t
 
If its corroded its probably a modern blazer button and nothing with all that much age. The backs of the modern buttons rust underground. If it were an older button the back would look just as good as the front. Im certainly not 100% positive on that ID but if we could see a picture of the back of the button it would be easy to tell.
