I found this on a salt water beach shore while metal detecting a few years ago. It is petrified. Do anyone know what it is?

According to Google Photo search, the Prehistoric Florida Website, and other resources, it is from the Miocene Epoch. A Dugong rib bone.
I am going to let a paleontologist examine it for confirmation.
