Gettin' chilly up here, but while the sun is still shining, it is still enjoyable to detect at the beaches.
The 925 ring ( 3 pics....just gettin' into the Christmas spirit
) was found in the slope wet sand about 5" deep.
The "dolphin" earring was about 8" deep in the muddy flats; it was so thickly encrusted that I didn't recognize it as an earring ....looked like a fishing apparatus of some sort.
Only after a good dose of electrolysis followed by scraping off the thick coat of tarnish with my finger nails did I finally see the silver underneath .
