Found this on a sidewalk...

Some type of pendant. It says "His Princess" on the front of it. Also on the bottom of it it says either "C(with a circle around it)B5O or S( with a circle around it)B5O. Hard to tell exactly what it says because the letters are partially gone. Does the C or S in the circle mean anything when it comes to silver? Form the photos can you tell if its silver? It isn't a hard metal and there are scratches on it. A few tiny gashes on it. Shows up on the 250 as a pulltab through a penny. Usually the signal I get when its a corroded penny. Could it be silver plated? Even if it's not silver, its still a cool find. Come on you silver gurus, help me out!! As soon as I saw it I thought it was silver. I'm pretty much positive it's silver, I'm just a little skeptical.

The other reason for this post is to ask were I can get a silver and gold testing kit and how much its going to set me back. Walmart, Hobby Lobby, exc.??

Hope the photos help.

Thanx in advance.

Nice eye spy!! :yikes:

My guess is not silver (if it has a copyright it should have a hallmark too) but that's just a guess. Get a bottle of silver test solution and a rub stone. You can use a white knife sharpening stone which is what I use because it shows the color change better. The solution only costs 2-3 dollars.
