Clearly a 15th century pressure release valve. :detecting:
 
Looks like the detonator/fuze for an artillery round or possibly nose piece from German Bomb. Military ordinance is my guess.

It is a nose from a German bomb.

I think the numbers were used in its detonation.

In England we have a problem finding alot of shrapnel but finding one of these makes it worthwhile
