Free Research Material for Central PA

Active member
I'm in the process of moving from Blomsburg, PA (Columbia County) to the deep south again and have an offer for anyone that may be in the area of PA I have hunted for years. I have a collection of topo maps dating back to the 1920's that show all sorts of sites that are no longer there. I've copied a few areas I want to retain but if any one is interested in the collection, they are yours with the caviat that you let me know what you find through their use.

First one to get back to me with the request and that lives close enough that they will be used gets them.

Hi Andy,
I'm new to detecting " 18 months now " and am starting to get the hang of my explorer 2.
I detect mostly schools and parks and have some pretty good finds. Ive read your books and some of your magazine articles. I'm slowly building a collection of local maps and research materials.
I live near Duncannon, PA and would be very much interested in any info you have available on central PA.
Thank you, Mark B

Mark,

Dan from Wilkes Barre contacted me for the maps up in this area but I have some material from the Harrisburg area as well as some productive sites you might be interested in trying. Shoot me an E-mail at infosvc@evenlink.com and we can discuss some of the sites in your area I'm familiar with.
