Geeezzzz !!! They selling that many that they need to lower the demand by putting the price up !?
If not, then they should lower the price by $200.00 to boost sales, not kill them !

Sounds like they want more to buy GARRETT. The only company who took a leap forward at a reasonable price to us.

Are other detector manufacturer's raising prices as well? Or is the dollar devaluing (if that's even a word) only in regards to Minelab? It would appear that their very large revenue increase from last year didn't satisfy them. Decisions like this price increase will hurt them. I feel for the dealers.

I like my excal II and I have been needing a backup for it..but just couldnt squeeze the bank account for another excal so I got me an AT pro. For how and where I hunt it should work ok. It will get here tomorrow and I will spend a few days testing it and see how it does. IF it is as good as is said, I will be very happy. My excal does have that 15 inch WOT so it does go deep, but the weight of it has been wearing on my arm and shoulder. I havent been diving any so am looking forward to using the AT when my shoulders are giving me problems.
