Frisbee golf coarse gold

i was at my favorite park today scorching some earth and found a ring about 15ft in front of a frisbee golf tee box. It got me thinking the jewelry might be a flying when you chuck a disc. Some food for thought.

If anybody asks tell them you have a frisbee on the end of your leash and you are walking it to learn the course. Keep saying “good girl” and occasionally when you stop make sure you say “sit” and “wait”. Pretty sure they will leave you alone……
That is an interesting thought. I even see kids doing that in the colder parts of fall and spring when the snow is mostly non existent. Wonder how far out from a starting point a ring would sail? This could be a new part of the forum, “Ring fling ballistics”.

I have been playing disc golf for 10 or 15 years and have detected our course the whole time. It is slim pickings. In at least 10 years of detecting here, I have never found any kind of ring in front of the tee pads. Most here cannot afford to play regular golf and frisbee golf is cheap. Most of us are just poor folks.

Ive hunted these parks with that in mind around the boxes, Its paid off with a couple of nice rings. Keep digging!

I have not found any rings at the ones I have tried, but have accumulated a few frisbees!!

Some of the frisbees are collectibles. New good ones about $20 apiece.

I had the same thought about the tee box and tried it once. So far no luck but may try again. A ring just has to be there.

Never had any luck on Frisbee courses but you usually get some walking in and it's peaceful.
