This is a combined post from two Mainers because one of us has dial up and can't post I guess. Today I took Indiankirk to my new, old pier system. Kirk recovered a 1890 dime in the first ten minutes followed by a 1964 quarter then a fantastic (for Maine tidal ground)1828 large cent. Finally he ends with a tag of some sort (he wants it to be a slave tag in Maine no less, I think it came from a bag of potatoes). Now for myself. Today I was using a 5.3 coil on the v trying to get between all the iron. I was working area that I had covered two days ago. After Kirk had two silvers and myself nothing I moved to new ground. I found a toasted large cent ,a girl scout pin and

a 1799 reale. The afternoon went by fast and now the temps and tides have shut this site off. Maybe until spring ,depends on how the bank ice forms. I will be going back .. Goldbill
