the houses don't look as goog as they do from the streetview.

In 2008 visited some places which had some relevance when I was a teenager.
This is one of the shots I did with my first bridge-cam, a Fujiflim Finepix S5000.

For the price of the bridge cameras, they take pretty good pictures. I sure do like the quality. Good crisp photo.
