From the Depths Vol II - Small coin at 8" (Very Short Video)

Another "Educational Series" volume.

Here is a very small zinc coin (half the size of a penny) at 8".
Nice look at the screen, not too much playing around this time. Listening to the signal, seeing how the pinpoint is symmetrical and no iron nearby.

Enjoy,
EMS

ps - Don't worry, I will go back to experimenting with settings.
pss - Click on "Youtube" in the lower right and watch it there in 480 (much better picture).

thanks for the video :clapping:

what coil you got on?

BP

Thanks BlankPlanet. I was just running the stock coil. I really like it, after having used the 13" Detech and 6X8 SEF, that stock coil is just sweet, really. If I didn't have the extra cash to get the other two coils I wouldn't be broken up about it. The stock coil is simply a great coil, very light for it's size and a high performer.

Switching coils is pretty fast, but wouldn't it be cool if we could just snap another head on and the wire wasn't involved? Just a quick snap on system when you hit the iron, so you could go to a small coil, or vice versa.

As, you can see, I'm having fun with the videos. I love editing and hope it doesn't get out of control - LOL.

thought it was the stock just wasnt 100% sure. yes nice coil pin pointing is very good !

you got me snap on off coils yes please!!

how do you find the 6 x 8 depth wise to the stock coil?

yeah have some fun with the videos got to have some fun !!

BP

Blank - Well, I can run the stock and 6X8 both at manual 30, so the stock is deeper. I cross checked a deep 8" or 9" small silver ring (on video somewhere) and the stock hit it better, clearly. So, I think the 6X8 is good for 8" - 10" depending on the target. The stock is good till 12". (in my iron mineralized ground)

great thanks for those numbers earthmansurfer very good.

Albert,

Your Video was clear and informative

I am real glad your doing your thing again

Or did you ever stop? :)

Regards and HH, Eva

Cool coin, and thanks for your video work !!!!

You are welcome guys (and gals)

Eva - I stopped for the snow and frozen ground (mostly). Now, my back is really sore from the E-Trac so I can only get out once a week. When they make a lighter one, I'll get out more - LOL, but really!

Another cool video, keep 'em coming!

Buy (or make) a harness, you won't regret it.

Hytinaerhi - I got to thank you. I wasn't going to go detecting today at all, to rest my back. But, I do have a "Swingy Thingy" but had been reluctant to use it. What a difference it made, 4 hours was almost like nothing! I filmed some GREAT footage to boot in iron and found my first gold (got it on video.)

Much thanks for the reminder,
Albert

Another fantastic educational video nice work, I especially like the coil tests and comparisons you do keep up the good work and thank you :clapping:
