Frozen Lower Rod

After 2-3 fresh water hunts I tried to adjust the lower rod on my Simplex and I can't get it to budge. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how were you able to get it loose?

Try spraying shaft with dry lube.

You need to pull your shafts out after every water hunt and rins them off. Sand and silt gets inside and makes it veryhard to remove them if you don't do this. Happened with my AT Max.
