Excal 1000
10x12 S.E.F coil
Original 10 dd coil
Charger and carrying case
$550 shipped
The excal works perfectly and I think has seen very little use as indicated by the handle grip and bottom of the original coil cover.
.
It was one of the ones in 2002 that went out with bad coil wire rubber and when I bought it the coil wire was and is all cracked up!
I have sealed it from sand with silicone tape so it is function-able but not water proof. I also purchased a Sef for it and installed it and a connector on the original coil so both coils are usable.
I planned on getting Docs waterproof connector and hard wiring it into the excal to make it water proof and have interchangeable coils. Currently it has a 4 pin connector that is not water proof for test purposes. I used the original cable so nothing has been touched inside the machine and it is ready for upgrade.
Their are really great posts on the excal forum that cover the upgrade very thoroughly making it easy for anyone who is mechanical... (thanks guys)
Moral of the story is the Excal is not waterproof right now above the connector.
