General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

The Explorer works great and includes the alkaline battery pack, rechargeable battery pack, 110 v charger, manual, aftermarket armrest and display cover. $639 shipped. No trades on this one.
It is rare that you can buy an Explorer SE for a price less than a Safari.:clapping:[/size]

Don...it is an SE. The only difference between it and the SE Pro is the pro coil. The stock SE came with a 10" slimline coil which wasn't very good in my opinion so many of us opted to put the 1050 coil on the SE as is shown in Richard's pic. Later on Minelab repackaged the SE with a new pro coil and called the detector the "SE Pro" when in fact the only difference between it and the SE is the added pro coil....the detectors are one and the same.
I honestly like the 1050 coil Richard has with this SE better than the pro coil on the se pro.

This is a SWEET deal here.
 
Don, I don't know about the cost on replacing the screen, it isn't bad at all.. Purely cosmetic.. If you will look between the X and p on Explorer in the upper right hand corner, you can see that it isn't that bad.. thanks for your interest.. Richard
 
Man that's a good price on that !!!! Minelab Explorer SE looks good....
 
FWIW, I've got a dimple on my Explorer SE screen and looked into having it fixed. Boiled down to a total of about $100 all said and done. I decided that it wasn't that important.

Still a great deal on a great machine. :thumbup:
