Trying to beat the winter blaaaahhhhhs!!!! Here was a fun time last spring near the battle of the Chancellorsville. The two on the out side of the canon wheels are two deaf members Rick and Steve from our detecting club, and between the wheels are Shawano and I.

This beautiful 1830's house was Stonewall Jacksons headquarters when they were fighting in the area.

Here was one of my better finds from that weekend. 1850's US ordinance button.

Here is Greg from GA. He is one of my best relic hunting buddies! We have been on about 10 different organized Civil War hunts together. He was with me when I found my first US belt plate, and here he is with his first!

Here is the biggest vine I have ever seen! I thought it looked like a swing so it was a good time for a pic! :) Just-a-swingin!!!!!

Terrific finds, and I like that 1830's Stonewall Jackson headquarters house.

I have attached a photo of David Humphrey's house , which is just down the street from where I live.

David Humphrey was a prominent Officer...I believe his rank was that of "Colonel "in the Revolutionary War. His home is now a Historical site where tours are conducted during the year, and in the Spring , students from local elementary schools also tour this house and participate in home making activities which were part of that historical era.

Can 't you just imagine what relics are to be found around the yard of this house?
 
I certainly can imagine what could be found there! Maybe you should ask about it? You could donate several things to the house for display?
