Fun with the 705 at our MD club picnic/good food too!!!

We had our MD club picnic today out at beautiful Fort Desoto Park in Pinellas county Florida, looking out at the Sky Way bridge from our picnic shelter...It was great seeing all the members with their many different detectors,land and sea, competing in a thirty minute hunt on a seeded section of beach.We paid $10 each and all money was put to the hunt in coins(clad dollars,quarters,some silver dimes,nickles,and special token blue Penny's.....those that got the token were in a drawing for cash...It was a great time with good food..I ended up with $9.65..one silver dime and one token that got a dollar in the drawing.The 705 did me well...HH bob.oz

That sounds like fun. I wish I had a club close so I could be in those kinds of hunts.

Sounds like a good time !! I missed our clubs seeded hunt this weekend due to lack of funds. Congrats on your finds !!!
