G-MAXX deepest factory program?

cadman_us

Messing around with the Deus doing air tests and I found that G-MAXX seems to be the deepest factory program. I haven't used it in the field yet, what have y'all found to be the deepest program?

Any pros or cons to the G-MAXX program compared to say the GMPOWER or DEUS FAST programs?

Thanks,

Joe

Depends on the type of target your after????? If you hunt coins the G maxx would be my first choice based on frequency alone.

Sorry, primarily coins and whatever else of interest pops up.

Joe

Relic is the deepest program and G-MAXX is the one I like least. For deep coins I use turned up GMP.

On the DEUS when you get the reactivity slower/lower it will gain more depth..

I assume you are testing high conductor coin's?

If so yes the G-Maxx will show more depth on coins as it's a lower freq and the reactivity is set on 1

If you were testing say an nickle GMP program would be better since its a higher freq looking at a lower conductor..to get great depth on the nickle turn the reactivity to 1 or even zero...but remember when you now test to go slower ...

Heres somehting for you to ponder at makes perfect sense..

I burried a quarter perfectly flat at a true 15" measured...

the ground was reading 85 on a F-75 LTD with 3 f.e. bars...

The only setting to hit the quarter and hit it very well I migh add but no I.D. mind you ..was 4khz and then the reactivity had to be on zero.... on 1 it would go back away....power was set on stability at 93..

So the lower freq coupled with slower recovery will get down deep...

The DEUS was the only machine to hear it...

With the DEUS you need an understanding of where to set things for certain hunt's and then hunt the sites different way's..

It really is like having 3-4 machine's with you at any time..

For hypothetical sake......deepest factory program.......I would pick Relic over Gmax for high conductive coins.......only because it's at zero reactivity level and TX power at three.

In air tests......good 'ol non-mineralized air......I've gotten the best distance on a silver dime with 8kHz....but 4kHz in the number two spot and 12kHz in third were very close.

Great post!

Ok i know this is an old post but....
I was testing ver 4.0 over a clad dime at 8.5 inches and while basic one saw it and gave a signal I would have dug, two other stock programs gave a better signal. G-maxx and Dry Beach, go figure
