G2 Dual processor?

Ok could someone explain the dual processor?
Is this a marketing gimik?
Does the gold bug pro have the same cicuit?

I cannot find any info on why the dual processor makes G2 better?

My guess is it would run faster giving quicker recovery rates between targets compared to the gold bug pro?
Or it can process gorund signals better giving it mroe stabilty in minerlized ground?
Im just guessing if someone could fill me in it would be great.

GBSE and GB PRO both have dual processors too. I imagine the technical info is not for public consumption.

Ok The G2 is differant than the gold bug pro, this is what I am trying to figure out-which would be better for gold nuggets.

- G2 has a VLF induction balance.Im guessing is a auto tune feature the gold bug is lacking.
Im not sure what this means.I can guess it has something to do with changing ground minereals. You must have to manually tune the gold bug to run properly in minerlized ground, where the G2 will do this itself? would this be like a ground traking feature???

I wondering if its like my old relic magnum auto?It has a manual ground balance with a auto tune feature to help in rough areas-giving less false hit when bumping search coil in rough areas.Like a plowed filed.

As far as dual processor - Im asuming Im right when it would have quicker recovery rates and more accurate ID.A dual prosseor computer runs much faster and can handle more complex software.Would this not be the same for a metal detector?

It be great if the company's could post a little more information on the dual processors, but at the same time keeping there secrets.I have heard this is the best signal frequency machine EVER -the high freq does not matter it breaks that boundary and still hits deep on coins with a 19khz freq.I cant wait to get one-just which one.....

The two are identical electrically the same and the software I would presume is the same for now GB =3 G2 =1 The difference is the physical setup one with s rod the other with set up like the omega or the t2 I would not worry to much I bet they perform the same.

I have a mxt but want to get it serviced and sell.I been hearing way too much good about these new 19khz machines not so much gold nuggets but more coins which is funny because of its high frequency you think more guys be using it for nuggets.Just have to wait until some nugget hunters try both and see if there is any differance.I know they hit coins deep-I bet the G2 would be killer on small candian silver dimes.

For a dual processor machine to be faster than a single processor machine the software has to be written to take advantage of it for the most part. (Just like on a computer) If the software is not written to take advantage of it, then the improvement will either be marginal or nothing.

I imagine since these units are processing many signals, that perhaps they can dedicate one processor for iron processing or something analagous to that. Somehow they are using the processor to split the workload, the question is how. Maybe one processor is doing something with monitoring the ground or the like while the other is doing the signals? Na, the ground doesn't take much. They must be splitting the workload somehow.

I don't think the T2 or F75 had dual processors, did they? But both are faster (barely) than the G2. But I think the G2 is quieter, from what I have read.
