I was changing my battery and noticed that I don't have a serial number sticker in the battery box!!! Anyone else have the sticker in there? My GBSE has the serial number in the battery box..........................Just curious.........MO

Mine does'nt have one either. I checked my sales reciept it does'nt have one either. Seems like I seen one on the box I'll check in the morning. There is bound to be one somewhere. Hope we don't need it but I would like to know where it is located.

No S/N---Omega doesn't have one either.----Just don't loose your sales receipt (for warranty work).

Just imagine having it stolen, try explaining to the insurance company when making a claim that there isn't a serial number, they will probably laugh and think you are trying to pull a fast one.

and detectors DO get stolen on occassion!----I think all the T-2's have a S/N on a tag/decal between the feet on the bottom of the battery box but apparrently the Greek series & the G2's dont have S/N's.-----Morerelic says the GBSE's have a S/N inside the battery box though.----Wonder why the Teks don't?---Like I said, don't loose your purchase receipt--that's what my dealer told me to.
