Good post! Gambling is another addiction that satan uses to trap people into sinning which then leads to more sinning when hooked and then do anything to get more money to gamble! A lady in IL several years ago...killed herself for she had spent all their money she and her husband had saved and mortgaged the house all that she could! No one, not even her husband, knew that she was gambling like she was for she was known as a nice lady and a figure of the community, but when she didn't know what else to do, satan had her to destroy her own life, after destroying her husband and/or family's lives by going so far in debt! Casino owners build more casinos, because they make the money and know they can get the people to gamble by tempting them with free (Stuff) to get them there for taking their money! Satan is a wily, slick liar with his bright, luring temptations and unless people are godly wise they can and will be snared into his traps! May God have mercy upon us all and help us to keep our eyes upon Jesus and out of satan's lying, wicked snares! Amen! Ma Betty

One pastor said winning the lottery is like throwing a ticket from an airplane into the air and having the winning ticked land on your house! My brother, Cliff, tried once in a while to win the lottery, but only won a few dollars now and then! Sometimes he wanted me to buy a ticket for myself, but I just gave it to him most of the time, as I have never felt good about gambling in any way, although they say life is a gamble, but I don't buy a ticket for my living day to day, and with Jesus it is like winning the lottery, for He loves, provides and protects me in many ways!
