Game piece from a Monopoly game

New member
this is one of the game pieces from a Monopoly game before they switched to colored plastic pieces. (We had one of the older ones when I was a kid. this was found in a school yard here in town.

Picture 2 is another playing piece that I found in a park in a neighboring town.

The third picture is a third piece that was in a school playground in a different neighboring town. According to a website that showed a picture of the original Playing pieces, there were 12 of them. So I now have 25% of them.

I wasn't sure about the cannon either but the website that showed all the original pieces had it sitting with the rest, big as life!

I used to love zooming the car around the board and I remember the thimble, but not anything else. I remember some of us grandchildren getting my grandmother's heirloom silver thimble and I stepped on it and all the other kids bailed on me and I just knew she was going to kill me or something. She looked at the thimble, smashed flat as a pancake with tears in her eyes and said in the sweetest voice, Intercourse thyself, child. lol What a wonderful, loving lady. Actually, she didn't say that, but I think she wanted to. I always had a vivid imagination. Of course, I was hopped up on some candy my uncle had brought us from town. Kind of like the Twinky defense.

I found a Monopoly thimble a long time ago. Still hoping to find some of the others. Cool pictures.

I remember the cannon after looking at the photo of it along with the other game pieces.
I have found 1 or 2 of the cars myself.
