So I purchased this Garrett Ace 150 at a garage sale for $5 last weekend. Took it to Garrett over the week and had them replace the battery connections because the previous owner left the batteries in it and corrosion was heavy. The pinpointer was found at a park about 6 months ago. Today took it out for a trial run and found a total of 1.80, 5 quarters, 2 dimes, 5 nickels and 10 pennies. Also an ear ring (worthless). This new hobby is so calming IMO. It's been years since I owned a metal detector, looking forward to my next find!
