Garrett coil impute

Does anyone know about the 5x10 coil that came on the GTA 1000..I heard it was a stock coil,but have not seen one.And are they a DD.I see the 2500 has this opptional coil.Will it fit a 1000? Does anyone know where I can get one..

Hey silverskidmarks...I'm not sure about th 5x10 coil that comes on the 1000.And I also dont know if the 5x10 2500 coil will work either.I'm sure someone with some knowledge will post something to help you out..sorry I couldnt help you..

Q3_ And are they a DD.
A3_ It is a 2D elliptical crossfire search-coil. (2219200)

Q4_ I see the 2500 has this opptional coil.Will it fit a 1000?
A4_ No (Scorcher DD _ 2219800)

Q5_ Does anyone know where I can get one..

Thanks for the inpute guys.........Lets say I have 1250 GTAX.....I would like to put a 5x10 scorcher on it.The 5x10 scorcher is non image.Both 1500 and 1250 run at same frequency 7.2 Khz.....Can someone tell me why this would not work on a 1250...Thanks to all impute..........

Count the pins on both ; if they have the same number then it may work. I really think the GTI machines have one more pin
than the other ones but that is only a guess
