Got out after work for about 4 hours and hit some schools and sports fields. I used the Scorpion, as it loves rings and coins.

Where do you set your discrimination on the Scorpion? Also, I had a Freedom III with the same look as the Scorpion.Is the battery longer than that time period,as I see they still use 3 9-volt batteries.

I had the Freedom Ace Plus some years ago. It too ran on 3 x 9 volts. I believe the Scorpion lasts longer with alkalines compared to the Freedm Ace Plus. My scorpion works great with rechargeable 9 volts.
