....I recently acquired a D-Tex Money King Motion series......it was of their futuristic series which was very liteweight and compact and sleek....... right before they went bankrupt.....made in 1983??....Anyway it reminds me of the Garrett Gold Scorpion....it also runs on 15 KHZ...and because it does..... hits very strongly and hard on the Nickel and Gold Rings...it hits hard on the other higher denomation coins also but actually hits harder on the nickel....also the audio is such that a weak or deep signal is heard as such.....some of the newer motion detectors the audio sounds the same if the coin is shallow or deep ..on the handle it has a button to switch modes for the All-Metal Non Motion Mode to Pin-Point......it only has 2 Control Knobs....one is the On/Off Sensitivity Dial and the other one is the Discrimination Dial......because it runs at 15 KHZ....I can use the larger coils used for the Scorpion or heck even use the coils used for the old GroundHog or Gold Hunter......just need to change out the coil connector......I was thinking about getting a Scorpion or even the new AT Pro......but i do not know right now......this little detector can really hunt with the big boys.........LOL.......Joe
