Groundhogs are 15khz and have a Groundhog on the searchcoil. Usually have a 4 pin connector.
Groundhog Gold Hunter 15khz, 5 pin coil connector, can use 4 pin coils if connector is replaced.
1985 Master Hunter ADS4 came in the Groundhog control box is 5khz cannot use Groundhog coils, only
Master Hunter ADS coils.
Your best coil option is still the 7 1/2" for most hunting with the Groundhog 15khz. The Sniper coil is very small and only useful
for prospecting or high trash area and do not go very deep.
