Thanks for posting this!! Kinda makes me want a 250 too...

The morgan dollar did not "ding" ? or sparkle like the white's one - lol. It appears the machine tunes itself to the coil by what they said, cool!!! No worrys about changing coils and not having the id be off. Did yall notice the speed of the testing device? Fast Recovery! Very cool vid John, thanks!!!

Side note - when are yall doing a review on the Ace 250? I'm sure it would reach 14,000 hits in about a month as much as everyone is into them right now.

Thanks John : Great video, Been looking for it on the discovery channel, but no luck, Now I don't have to look for it thanks to you. HH Ken

I poked around a few of the videos and was pleasantly surprised to see the 2 target feature on the 550. I haven't seen that on a detector before and it's a shame that it hasn't been carried through the Garrett range as it could be very useful. It may help prevent some target averaging and show what's really under the coil.
Nice one Garrett!
Mick Evans.

I've watched that program now and then. Thanks for posting the link, it was quite interesting. It's good to know the fragility level of a coil even though I'm already reasonably carefull with them anyway.
